I Suffered On-Stage Rejection as a Musician with a New Sound. How can I handle this…
Well, the best way to handle rejection as a musician with a new sound is to actually embrace that rejection as one embraces a friend and then use it as fuel for concentrated and dedicated hard work. Yes!.
It is the Truth. Once you have chosen a new or different path, rejection will definitely come as it is want to, and your only resolve may be to welcome it, understand it and choose to use it as fuel to greatness.
Legendary musician Beautiful Nubia whilst growing up as an upcoming musician and whilst performing in front of an audience, once experienced having his sound totally cut off from the audience he was performing for because the sound engineer at the time didn’t think much of him and his music, and so while he could hear himself on stage, he didn’t know that nobody in the house/audience could actually hear him as he performed.
Now that's some mighty terrible experience right?
Well I think so too, but the good thing is that Beautiful Nubia didn’t give up on his Sound and Message because some persons rejected him. He kept on and today, it would interest you to know that more than 10 Million Nigerians wake up to *“Owuro Lojo”* a song that heralds the morning, sang by *Beautiful Nubia*.
And so Rejection must be seen as a Tool of greatness instead of a Reason to Suck Up. You must welcome it as one welcomes a friend, understand it and then use it as fuel for more hard and concentrated work.
I Hope this Helps You
